| Organizing Committee of CZS Science Carnival 3.0 |
One of the best times of my life was spent at Comilla Zilla School! 2016 to 2022 - more than 5 years of school life seems like I was in heaven! What I am today is only because of Comilla Zilla School!
Participating in competitions, meeting new communities, making good friends, learning programming and other skills, and many other vital activities in life started from this school! The school's Headmistress, Rasheda Akhtar, has guided me like her own son, provided me possibilities, and assisted me in all the necessary measures to take advantage of opportunities I had! She may have grasped that my dream is vast and different from everyone else's! I am forever grateful to her!
Science Carnival 3.0
If I have to talk about the most important event of school life, the name "Science Carnival" will come first! Basically, Science Carnival is the biggest science-based competition organized by our school! Our school was established in 1837 and is one of Bangladesh's best schools for boys! Thousands of students take this school's entrance exam annually to get admission! But only the top 260 get a chance to study here! I was one of the lucky ones!

Everyone eagerly awaits this annual event. It is organized by the school's Science Club members! I was the graphic designer of the Comilla Zilla School Science Club! For the third time, when this event was announced, I was overjoyed! Because I was going to get the opportunity to go to the organizing committee for the first time after 5 years of waiting!
In the event, students from all over Comilla city compete in different segments like - Science Olympiad, Math Olympiad, Physics Olympiad, Science Project, Science Quiz, Robotics, Chess, Rubik's Cube, and many more events! As a designer and organizer, my responsibility was huge! I was the lead of the online promotion and offline creative visualization of the entire event! I did over 100 designs for this event, including - posters, banners, event logos, flyers, certificates, medals, and more! I still remember how many nights I did those works with friends without sleep! It took us about 3 months for field work like event planning and discussions, sponsor management, school visits, promotions, etc.! The suffering and challenges we faced cannot be expressed in words!
But I am proud that we managed to retain the status in the end! We successfully organized "Science Carnival 3.0" with more than 3000 young participants from various schools in Comilla city! In this one month, I have improved my team working, organizing, communication, designing, and critical thinking skills.
On the event day, more than 40 people were present as volunteers! It took a lot of work to handle the Guardian and many competitors! From 7 am to 9 pm, I was busy with the event! My feet were hurting a lot! But at the end of the event, when all the volunteers and organizers were listening to the praise of our event from the Headmistress, all the pain and fatigue disappeared!
The best moment for me!
In the meantime, a fascinating and proud event happened! I was volunteering for a specific job on the school grounds. Our event had seating for everyone in the large arena, canopy above, and stage in front. The chief guest of the event, district commissioner, "Kamarul Hasan," was giving a speech on the stage! He quickly exclaimed, "One of my favorite students is volunteering at this big event today, his name is Mohtashim Monowar. The boy is seriously brilliant! He is developing an app to solve the problem of finding blood donors! I am so proud of him. Where are you, Monowar? Come and stand with me on stage!"

Hearing these words, my heart rate increased dramatically! I ran up to the stage, more than 3 thousand people in front of me! Everyone is clapping for me! Sir patted my head and asked me to stand with him till the end of the speech! This was the best moment for me in the whole event! Even today, I remember his words from the heart! He has inspired me and many students like me and helped me in many ways!
The Ending of Science Carnival 3.0
All of us were very happy; seniors, juniors, and friends spent a whole day with everyone and made so many new experiences and memories that day! Then we all went to eat in a restaurant, and I saw everyone laughing together for the last time! I was returning home after chatting with everyone. I was thinking about the beautiful moments while walking. I suddenly noticed the tears in my eyes!
A few days later, I gave the final exam of my school life, SSC. That day, my exciting, dynamic, compelling, creative, and unforgettable journey of 5 years came to an end! I miss those days!
